After the Thomas Fire struck Ventura and Santa Barbara counties people came together in many different ways. Neighbors knocked on doors to wake people up when the fire was rapidly approaching. So many restaurants gave food to first responders and those affected. Donations poured in and people took in their friends who had nowhere to stay. Ventura stood up after it got hit, helping those who couldn’t get back up on their own.
Take a peak into one of my favorite Mondays so far this year! Mimosas in a beach house? Yes, please!
What a kind crowd! I enjoyed snapping a few pictures before heading to work. This event was a sister march to the Women’s march that took place in over 270 cities across the country on the same day, January 20th, 2018.
I want to spend more time hiking! I think back on this colorful day so fondly. “I’m gone to Carolina in my mind…”
Table Rock is a nice state park in South Carolina with multiple trails. There are so many things to look at. The forest floor is a whole world of its own where surely fairies dwell. Looking up at the tree tops is just as rewarding.
An afternoon strolling Greenville and evening enjoying pizza and ice cream makes for a perfect day.
This was my second time going to the Carolinas to visit wonderful people. Obviously there’s much more to see in these states and I just barely scratched the surface, (pretty much just content to hang out with these amazing dogs) but what I did see was beautiful.
At least once a week I wish I was camping instead of doing whatever real life things I’m doing instead. Feeling free and eating as many s’mores as I can are are pretty much my top priorities in life.
The Palace of Versailles- 700 rooms, more than 2,000 windows, 1,250 chimneys, and 67 staircases. Talk about royalty! The king had a ceremony every time he woke up, went to sleep, put on his hunting boots, took off his hunting boots…
It was a nice experience taking the train out of Paris to a royal château! The gardens of Versailles are a dream. We didn’t quite see all of it since it covers 1,976 acres!!
The Louvre! Former royal palace, and now museum in Paris. Home of many famous sculptures and paintings such as the Mona Lisa.
